Activities of teaching and learning:
Student-centered teaching using advanced teaching and learning methods: traditional lectures, problem-based teaching, interactive lectures, laboratory and practical work, consultations, group work, internships, application of specialist software, etc.
Methods of assessment of learning achievements:
Assessment of learning outcomes consists of the assessment of a student's knowledge, understanding and abilities. Assessment of learning outcomes is performed throughout the semester and during the examination session. Under cumulative assessment, learning outcomes are assessed by means of interim assessments, and the final grade consists of the sum of the grades received for coursework and examinations. The learning outcomes achieved by the student at the end of the module are evaluated by assigning them to the level of achievement: excellent (exceeds average performance), typical (standard, average performance) and threshold (meets minimum requirements).
