Summary of the Profile

The aim of the study program (s):
To deepen students knowledge of the latest health and rehabilitation science issues , diagnosis, prevention and rehabilitation strategies.
To develop students ability to independently carry out scientific research, analyze and interpret their results, apply the results in practice. Improve students practical skills to solve the problems in unexpected new practical situations , adopt innovative , research -based solutions.

1. Knowledge and its application
1.1. Know their newest professional theories, diagnostic methods and effects and will be able to apply them in practice.
1.2. Ability to collaborate with the patient / client to defend its rights to pursue in order to meet its operating needs.

2. Ability to carry out research
2.1. Be able to critically analyze and proper use of the scientific literature, independently plan and carry out research over the scientifically and practically important health and rehabilitation issues, summarize and evaluate the results of a multidisciplinary approach in the national and international context.

3. Special skills.
3.1. In clinical practice will be able to apply science-based health promotion and rehabilitation methods: differentiate and evaluate different people of all ages the body dysfunction, analyze and simulate the impact and use of effective methods to create new health and rehabilitation methods.
3.2. Individuals will be able to advise on matters of health and rehabilitation, recommend and implement science-based health promotion and rehabilitation methods and tools, health plan process clearly and convincingly convey summary information on health promotion and rehabilitation of health care professionals and other individuals.

Teaching and learning activities:
Lectures (streaming and small groups), practical work, seminars, individual work, lesson preparation and presentation, group and individual counseling, clinical practice, clinical presentation and case studies, analysis of literature.

Of evaluation is:

Study subjects (modules) practice:
Postgraduate program Health promotion and rehabilitation studies - 1.5 years; volume - 90 credits in the form of - permanent, nature study - full-time study. The study program is executed three semesters, each with a volume of 30 credits.
The program combines 5 branches: Occupational therapy in the community, clinical physical therapy, sports physical therapy, health promotion and rehabilitation exercise, Children's Rehabilitation.
Study plan is mandatory courses, mandatory (branch) things elective subject and scientific research and thesis. Will be studied six compulsory subjects (27 credits), 3-4 branches compulsory subjects (30 credits), elective subject (3 credits). Scientific research and thesis to 30 credits.
