General Description
Objective of the study programme
To train a business data analyst who is able to collect, organise, manage, analyse, visualise, and communicate the data needed to make informed business decisions, data-driven forecasts, and trend analysis.
Learning outcomes
1. Understands the activities and processes of a business organisation, the functioning of markets and principles of sustainable development.
2. Applies knowledge of data analytics to business processes and data flows.
3. Able to organise data and analyse processes in the business environment to identify business problems and provide solution alternatives using quantitative and(or) qualitative research methods.
4. Able to document transactions in an orderly, detailed, and clear manner, ensuring data security and continuity of analysis.
5. Able to convert large amounts of data into useful information for the decision-makers of the organisation.
6. Able to use specialised analytical tools and systems.
7. Able to make innovative decisions based on modern technologies, contributing to data-driven innovation in organisations.
8. Able to deal with routine business management tasks carefully, consistently, and responsibly.
9. Able to express ideas critically and consistently, communicating the results of data analysis considering the principles of data protection and professional ethics orally and in writing.
10. Demonstrates critical, systematic, and logical reasoning skills.

Activities of teaching and learning
Lectures, seminars, discussions, practical assignments, problem-based learning, developing projects, training projects in business enterprises, case studies, group work, simulation, role-playing, debates, brainstorming, demonstration, retrieving and analysing information, consultations, etc.

Cumulative assessment system is applied. Assessment methods: individual/group integrated projects and(or) term papers, questioning (oral, written), tests, case study reports and presentations, project reports, preparation and delivery of presentations, reports, presentations of practical assignments, mind map presentations, presentations of group project, presentations of individual assignment, essays, final thesis, etc.

General module of collegial studies (15 credits):
Information and Communication Technologies (Basics of IT, Documentation Management and Communication, Business English).
Modules in the field of study (150 credits):
1. Study modules (105 credits): Basics of Business Management (Business Environment and Innovation, Introduction to Information Management and Decision Making, Management), Mathematical Modelling (Logic, Business Mathematics and Modelling, Data Analytics 1), Analysis of Economic Data (Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, Data Analytics 2), Artificial Intelligence, Business, and Society (Digital Innovation, Business Law and Ethics, Artificial Intelligence), Business Process Management (Process Management Techniques, Process Management, Company Finance), Technology, Innovation, and Analytics (Data Management and Visualisation, Basics of Programming, Technology Management and Innovation). Optional modules:
Financial Data Management (Data Protection, Methods of Applied Research, Financial Management), Sales Data Management (Data Protection, Methods of Applied Research, Sales Management).
2. Professional Internship (Tools of Business Data Analysis, Professional Internship in a Business Enterprise)(15 credits).
3. Final Thesis (Final Internship, Final Project) (30 credits).
