Access to professional activity:
The graduate of the study program is management level electro-technical officer of a ship, an engineer, whose qualification corresponds to the provisions of STCW (International Convention of Standards of Training, Certification and Watch-keeping for Seafarers, that defines the general requirements for marine employees worldwide) Regulation III/6 Table A-III/6 and the provisions of paragraphs 108 – 109 of Regulations for Issuing Diplomas, Global Maritime Distress and Safety System General Operator Certificates, Qualification Certificates of Marine Rank of the Republic of Lithuania, Endorsements Attesting the Issuance of Certificates and Issuance of Advanced Certificates to Seafarers Serving on Ships Engaged on International Voyages (TAR, 25-06-2014, No. 9120).
The qualification of electro-technical engineer acquired by the graduate will enable him/her to work on different purpose and unlimited propulsion power ships as well as perform the management level duties at enterprises of marine business.
Access to further study:
The graduate can continue his/her studies in Master degree programmes in Lithuania and abroad according to the set order.
