Description
Object of activities: felling of trees and shrubs with chainsaws and brush cutters, pruning and sorting of tree stems, management of felling sites.
Typical work tools: personal protective equipment, chainsaw, brush cutter, wood measuring tools, tree translation aids, etc.
Typical working conditions: working outdoors, characterized by individual and team work.
Additional information: the logger follows the requirements of forest work safety, occupational safety and health, ergonomics, occupational hygiene, fire safety, and environmental protection. He carries out the work in accordance with the instructions of a higher-skilled employee, who supervises the quality of the work. Qualified individuals will be able to work in the State Forest Enterprise, national and regional parks, companies performing forestry works, logging companies or carry out individual forestry activities.
Competences of qualification:
1. Prepare a motor saw for work.
2. Prepare the brushcutter for work.
3. Prepare forest areas to be cut for felling.
4. Cut trees of various thicknesses and complexity (danger), prune branches, cut trunks into assortments with a motor saw and brushcutter.
5. Manage the felling site.
