Objective(s) of a study programme:
To provide interdisciplinary knowledge and competencies in political science, sociology and philosophy, enabling to comprehensively address the complex challenges of politics and society in the 21st century, to assess the interconnectedness between politics, society and an individual, ensuring the development of analytical, critical and systemic thinking skills.

Learning outcomes:
Knowledge and its Application:
Ability to identify political science-related concepts and knowledge, to connect and compare them to each other.
Ability to adapt and apply political science- related concepts and knowledge in specific geographical and thematic contexts.
Ability to describe and integrate political science-related concepts and knowledge at the level of a proficient user and to manipulate them accordingly.
Ability to analyse the interconnectedness of politics and individual and its dynamics over time.
Ability to analyse the interconnectedness of politics and society and its dynamics over time.
Ability to apply the knowledge of political and sociological analytical tools in different professional settings.
Research Skills:
Ability to design theoretical and empirical social research design and select adequate methods to solve academic and practical policy problems.

Activities of teaching and learning:
In order to ensure the most effective study process to achieve the goals of the study programme, different student-centred learning methods are utilized: problem-based learning, experiential learning, case studies, mapping of ideas, group assignments combined with theoretical lectures, seminars and consultancy sessions as part of joint and individual work.

Different methods of student assessment are utilized: reports, self-reflection of activities, analysis of literature, problem-driven tasks, portfolio of works and competencies, map of ideas/concepts, essays, etc.).

Options to work as a data analyst, social project manager, market research specialist, policy analyst, policy advisor, politician, diplomat, and more.
