Summary of the Profile

The aim of the programme is to prepare professional contemporary dance artist, who is able to create dance pieces, create and prepare leading roles, gather and organise ones list of achievements, create and execute creative dance projects, lead warm-up classes, help younger artist improve, and to train ability to analyse, discuss, keep interest in the world, different artistic fields. The purpose of a programme is to offer possilitites to aquire professional competencies to perform roles in dance productions, create short dance pieces, historical or literary roles, train younger artists, expand creative and personal professional abilities, edit soundtrack preparing it for a dance work. After completion of the programme, a contemporary dance artist will be able to perform different contemporary dance techniques, perform lead roles technically, professionally and expressively, create short dance pieces, assess competencies of younger artists and train them, create artistic projects and realize them. A qualification of contemporary dance artist is given after completing all contemporary dance artist modular vocational training programme and passing competences exam.
