General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
The study programme objectives are to prepare professionals who are able to communicate in English language in various business situations, to prepare business documents in English and Lithuanian language, monitor and mediate among business enterprises and foreign clients, to collect and analyse data necessary for solving professional problems, to communicate and cooperate with business partners in Lithuania and abroad, to develop the need for constant learning and development.

Learning outcomes:
• Will fluently communicate in business English language orally and in writing.
• Will have control over written communication knowledge in English and Lithuanian languages for business purposes.
• Will understand the methodology of documents preparation and will briefly convey information.
• Will apply common translation patterns, will have control over knowledge of vocabulary and grammatical transformation values.
• Will have knowledge and ability to represent a business company locally and internationally and contribute to the effective activity coordination and organization of a company.
• Will communicate in the second foreign language orally and in writing.
• Will be able to apply innovative scientific management, business and philological science synthesis in practical activities.
• Will communicate and collaborate with other business institutions, colleagues and customers.
• Will prepare, formalise and organize documents management in accordance with the standards of the Republic of Lithuania and European Union.
• Will understand basic concepts about business organization forms as well as the key economic phenomena.
• Will integrate business and English language knowledge in the organization.
• Will mediate in a business field in English language.
• Will understand the principles of ethics, applying them in professional activities.
• Will organize own activities with responsibility for professional development.
• Will collect and analyse results, necessary for applying innovation and improvement in professional activities.

Activities of teaching and learning:
Lectures, exercises, self-study, scientific literature and analysis, seminars, colloquiums, examinations, final thesis defence.
Methods of assessment of learning achievements:
Ten points criteria proportion cumulative assessment system is applied to assess knowledge and skills (cumulative assessment). Study programs and modules results during semester are evaluated using intermediate tests (written papers, control works, projects, oral reports described and defended orally, essays, tests, practical exercises, presented folders, etc.). The final evaluation (mark) consists of the intermediate tests and examination marks.

Distinctive features of a study programme:
Students will have an opportunity to study subjects in business, English, communication and most of the subjects will be taught in English.
Access to professional activity or further study:
Access to professional activity:
Upon completion of these studies a graduate will be able to work as a specialized language specialist in various business, management or other organizations; to continue their studies in various philological and social sciences.
Access to further study:
Graduates who have acquired professional bachelor's degree can continue their studies in higher schools of Lithuania within the same field of university undergraduate and graduate programmes. College graduates who intend to study for master’s degree will have to attend additional studies.
