General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
To prepare masters with a holistic understanding of human resource management, to enable them to seek academic achievement and practical harmony in human resources management and its related areas.
Learning outcomes:
Knowledge and Its Application:
A1 To demonstrate up-to-date management knowledge while applying it to solving human resource management problems individually and critically in a new or unfamiliar environment.
A2 To understand and apply the diversity of modern human resource management concepts and theories while interpreting creatively and expanding the possibilities to use them to create human resource management innovations.
A3 To develop and create ideas of human resource management and other related fields in an original way based on the results or scientific and applied research
Research Skills:
B1 To be able to analyse, synthesise and assess the research data necessary for human resource management studies, activity and implementation of innovations.
B2 To be able to create and apply human resource management methodology and manage complex situations of human resource management using the ideas based on scientific research.
B3 To integrate the methods of research into human resources and other related fields when making responsible economic, social and ethical decisions.
Subject–Specific Skills:
C1 To be able to apply modern management theories when dealing with complex problems of human resource management and other related fields while conducting scientific and applied research in a rapidly changing environment which is hard to forecast.
C2 To integrate holistic and systemic approach and methods of research into human resources, to manage the process of personal and other people’s creation, raise ideas to achieve the synergy in human resource management.
C3 To assess critically and be able to make reasoned arguments about alternatives, concepts and methods to improve human resource management systems and develop the potential of human resources.

D1 To communicate in writing and orally effectively, consult and perform expert evaluation when dealing with scientific and practical problems of human resource management and other related fields and presenting the obtained results.
D2 To manage the process of personal and other people’s creation while assuming responsibility for quality of personal and other people’s activity and its assessment, activity improvement according to professional ethics and public spirit.

E1 To acquire new knowledge and skills necessary to conduct scientific and applied research, make and implement practical decisions independently.

Activities of teaching and learning:
The knowledge and skills during all subjects are gained at the class and by self-learning. Work at the class includes lectures, seminars, laboratory work and practical tasks. Student's individual work is assigned to the mastering of theoretical material, lecture preparation, laboratory work and exercises, to the semester assignments and final exams, homework and project development and to the other knowledge, skills and abilities designed activities. The study program concludes with a Master's final project.
Methods of assessment of learning achievements:
Student's knowledge, abilities and skills acquired by studying the program modules during the semester are evaluated and recorded in the database. The settlement of the semester individual work tasks, individual, group or course work, the mid-term and final exam gives the evaluation in the ten-grade scale.

The students are studying 8 core subjects at study field: Business Law, Srategic Human Resource Management, Change Management, Leadership, Salaries Management, Competence Management, Human Resource Research Methodology, Human Resources Management Systems' Audit, Human Capital Management.

Students can choose an extra practice, additional competence profile with the 18 credit set at 1, 2, 3 semesters. Also they can choose the 10 credit alternative sets at 1, 2 semesters.
Distinctive features of a study programme:
A graduate possesses comprehensive knowledge of human resource management, they are able to prepare scientific and applied researches independetly in order to find out new facts and providence, creatively interpret and apply theoretical knowledge and scientific and applied research results in terms of human resource management innovations, tools, techniques, learn to work independently, communicate effectively, act creatively in new situations, evaluate alternatives and possible solutions of social and ethical implications of the decisions in difficult to forecast and rapidly changing environment.
