General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
Education of highly qualified specialists who have acquired knowledge on priciples and technologies of building materials and items production, new and modern production technologies and manufacturing products with special characteristics, standartization, quality assessment, develops original thinking and the development of critical building materials technology assessment, to develop new knowledge and integrate knowledge from different fields for lifelong learning.
Learning outcomes:
Knowledge
Will analyze and apply knowledge on structure and properties of building materials, technological processes its production and principles of building materials quality assesment.
Will apply scientific methods used in research of building materials, will evaluate production management and quality assessment parameters, will apply production quality management systems.
Research skills
Will be able to find and obtain the necessary data for technological work, using scientific information sources.
Will be able to plan and perform analytical, experimental and simulation researches for building materials production technologies, will be able to evaluate the data and present conclusions.
Technological analysis
Will be able to formulate and solve problems with the organization of production of building materials and technological well-known and not fully defined problems.
To have an ability creatively thinking and apply personal knowledge to a solution of practical building materials technology and modernization problems and experimental development for a building technology engineering problems solving.
Biotechnology design
Will be able to apply knowledge and general understanding of acquired in studies to solving of building technology related problems, including problems arising in adjacent fields of science and engineering.
Will be able to develop innovatively new and original ideas and methods and of engineering, using knowledge and discretion and complex information sources.
Personal and social abilities
Will be able to work independently and in a team and lead a group of people from different fields and competencies.
