Future hydro-technical facility engineers study draughtsmanship, chemistry, environmental protection, physics, informatics, mathematics, work and civil safety, fundamentals of law, a foreign language, etc.
Practical studies are conducted in two stages: professional training practice of geodesic measurement, engineering investigation, drainage-irrigation equipment, machinery and construction and work technologies of hydro-technical facilities, and production practice carried out in production organisations. The duration of practical studies is 23 weeks. During these studies, the skills required to project and construct water engineering objects, etc., are consolidated and improved.
The hydro-technical facility study programme is aimed at people who have secondary education and seek to be environmental engineers.
