Summary of the Profile
After graduation of the programme a person will be able to prepare work tools, equipment, and clay materials to manufacture concrete product. He will be familiar with three basic techniques of hand building: pinch, coil and slab construction. A person will be able to decorate ceramic products with embossing, engraving, relief; decorate ceramics with underglaze paint, engobes. Also to prepare glazes, glaze ceramics and eliminate glaze defects; to retouch ceramics, dry, and remove drying defects. He will be capable to load ceramic products into ceramic kiln for the first and second firing, eliminate glaze defects after firing, pack ceramic products for transportation. He will be proficient in selecting temperature mode to fire ceramic products in kiln, firing in various kilns.
