Description
A person who has acquired the qualification of master of comparative linguistics should: Be able to analyze phenomena of different languages in various aspects and understand causes of the specifics of different languages, tendencies of language evolution and functioning peculiarities; perform independent research of comparative linguistics.Know basics of general and comparative linguistics, generalities and peculiarities of Lithuanian and the studied language, and peculiarities of oral and written translation.Be able to work responsibly, plan and organize his/her own work, and effectively and emphatically communicate with colleagues and clients.
