Description

The aim of programme: to qualify rehabilitation masters, physiotherapist or occupational therapist, according with European Union and the World Health Organization recognized requirements, to be prepared for further (postgraduate) studies, and within its competence are able critically analyze scientific literature, independently carry out scientific research in the field of physiotherapy or occupational therapy, creatively apply well-known quantitative and qualitative research methods, cognize the thresholds of methods, can assess and interpret the test results, determine their reliability; critically assess and apply the rehabilitation science theoretical and practical innovations; cognize the modern trend of rehabilitation science theories and methods, be able to apply it in practical work ; be actively involved in improving the quality of rehabilitation servines; cognize mechanisms of the individual interactions with the physical and social environment in their everyday, working and professional activities and leisure; be able this knowledge properly adapt to the needs of patients and people with disabilities, and to their social integration; reasonably engage and include other professionals into the rehabilitation process; mobilize and organize the team work; constantly upgrade their professional qualifications; participate as teachers in physiotherapist and occupational therapist education and training programs.
