Knowledge and its Application · To explain the essential facts, concepts, theories, and mathematical methods relevant to operation of computers, their hardware and software, its characteristics and practical application possibilities, computer communication and applied solutions related to important historical, current and possible future trends in computer sciences. · To explain the principles of algorithm construction and analysis, programming paradigms, languages and technologies, principles of human-computer interaction, typical stages of software life-cycle, and methods of software development and maintenance. · To explain how commercial, industrial, economic and social contexts affect professional practice defined by ethical norms and regulated by legal requirements, including data protection, intellectual property rights, contracts, safety of products, responsibility and other related issues. · To apply knowledge of computer engineering to develop computer systems, computer networks, or other applied solutions for solving professional challenges. · To explain the methods of designing computer and other specialized digital technologies, their structure and operating principles, as well as their application in solving specific tasks. Research Skills · To describe a specific problem related to computer systems, computer networks, or another professional field, and prepare the necessary data for its solution by utilizing various sources. · To analyze the data and information required to solve problems related to computer systems, computer networks, or other professional activities, assessing their compliance with specific criteria. · To evaluate the data and information necessary for solving problems in computer systems, computer networks, or other professional activities, providing reasoned justification for the decisions made and presenting conclusions. Special Skills · To apply relevant computer engineering methods to formulate and effectively solve applied tasks related to computer systems and networks. · To select appropriate software and hardware solutions for developing new or improving existing computer systems. · To properly administer and configure computer systems and networks by applying relevant standards and technologies. · To evaluate computer systems and networks based on performance, security, and reliability criteria while maintaining and expanding them as needed. · To prepare specifications, projects, or other documentation required for the development of computer systems and networks, incorporating project management methodologies and considering all lifecycle stages, quality requirements, and security aspects. sessions. The student's achieved learning outcomes, upon completing a subject, are evaluated by assigning them to achievement levels: excellent, typical, and threshold.
