Summary of the Profile
The main study programme courses are given in the 2nd year. Just the course of microbiology starts in the 2nd semester of the 1st year. It is continued in the 3rd semester, when the introduction of health economics and management, also introduction of psychology and health psychology are on the curriculum. The courses of biostatistics and assessment of individual health are included in the 4th semester, social medicine, health education and promotion - in the 5th semester. As the studying is finalized with the defense of final research, the introduction of research methods is taught in the 5th semester also. Special subjects as nutrition and food safety, introduction of occupational health, introduction of environmental health, health safety of children and teenagers, introduction of epidemiology are in the 6th and 7th semesters. In the 8th semester students do the final research and have one month duration professional practice.
