In theoretical classes, future logging supervisors are acquainted with potentially dangerous machinery and dangerous work; the safety regulations of forestry work; organisation of safe logging; requirements for the use of chain saws, branch cutters, and bush cutters; requirements for safely felling trees and cutting bushes and branches; etc.
Practical training takes place in forests. The duration of practical training is four hours. Working safely, management, and other skills are reinforced and improved during the practical training.
To enrol in the training programme for logging supervisors, a person must be at least 18 years of age and have a technical college education.
