General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
To Equip students with a comprehensive understanding of entrepreneurship theory and practices, market analysis, strategic planning, process and quality managment, financial management, marketing strategies, and innovation managment and it‘s practices. Moreover, to Foster an entrepreneurial mindset among students, encouraging creativity, resilience, and a willingness to take calculated risks toward. Provide students with hands-on experience in developing and testing business ideas, guiding them through
the process from ideation to market testing. Develop
industry-relevant skills demanded market competition, including adaptability to changing market conditions, innovation, and driving own business growth. Instill a global perspective by emphasizing understanding of globalization,
cultural differences, and international business practices
Learning outcomes:
The graduate of the program:

1. Will demonstrate proficiency in building business with entrepreneural mindset grounded on theory and practice to apply data based knowledge necessary to manage the organization toward market success.
2. Be able to conduct comprehensive market analyses and develop strategic plans for challenging market conditions both at national and international level.
3. Apply financial management principles to business ventures to be able to attract investment to scale the business, maximize the revenue and ensure business growth.
4. To design and execute team building strategies tailored to market competition based on human resources management principles which will lead to generate innovative ideas and solutions to address business challenges.
5. Ability to design business spesific process management model to monitor the interruption in the organization, successfully navigate the process of supply chain.
6. Communicate effectively across cultures and in international business contexts. Collaborate with diverse teams to achieve business objectives.
7. Be able to apply total quality management principles to ensure product/service quality and customer satisfation.

Activities of teaching and learning:
The program uses heuristic or active learning methods: Lectures and seminars covering theoretical concepts and practical applications; Group projects involving market research, strategic planning, and business model development; Individual projects involving business modelling process design and execution practices; Case studies and simulations to analyze real-world business scenarios; Entrepreneurship workshops and guest lectures from industry experts; Internships and experiential learning opportunities with local businesses or startups; Networking events and mentorship programs connecting students with successful entrepreneurs and professionals; self-study materials, debates, cooperative learning, concept and mind
mapping, simulation of management processes, problem solving, document analysis.
Methods of assessment of learning achievements:
Written exams assessing theoretical knowledge. Presentations and reports on group projects and case studies. Idea generation, Business model, Business plan development and presentation. Performance evaluations during internships or experiential learning experiences. Considering above actions, cumulative assessment is used
with a ten point grading system. Subject and module syllabi
include specific structural elements of assessment, their weighting in the final assessment, and the content, criteria and requirements of specific assessment tasks. The study of each subject culminates in an examination. Students shall demonstrate the results achieved in the program by means of a final thesis. The assessment of the learning outcomes of the program is carried out throughout the semester and during the examination session by means of cumulative assessment. The results of the studies are assessed during the semester by means of mid-term examinations: control work, individual and group project work, tests, case studies, information retrieval and systematization, discussions, independent
creative tasks, seminars, coursework, practical reports, examinations, final thesis.

Course units (modules), practical training:
According to the general requirements, the Business development and entrepreneurship program consists of 180 credits of general college subjects. 138 credits are allocated to the study of the core subjects of the specialization, of which
30 credits are allocated to the educational and final professional practice and 12 credits to the final thesis. Students can choose between modules aimed at further specialization in the fields of Wellness and Beauty Business and free elective modules that develop and enhance general
competences and are intended for interdisciplinary studies.

Distinctive features of a study programme:
This programme emphasis on practical, hands-on learning experiences which combines integration of entrepreneurship theories and practices and mindset with business organizational structure. This approach leads participants to obtain ability to build leadership characteristic which will be formed toward market success and confronting challenges exist in business environment. Thus, this programme designed to equip students with information, skills, knowledge and industry collaboration focusing on fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and innovation taking into account contemporary trends, consumer needs and market dynamics. This program therefore not only responds to the growing interest of people in business development, but also reflects the needs of the business market and gives students
the opportunity to become entrepreneurs and leaders in this growing sector.

Graduates will be able to start their own business in demanding sectors, as they will have knowledge on
organization and management, business economics, marketing and financial management, total quality management, as well as specific knowledge of entrepreneurship and Innovation, and will be able to offer goods and services to customer/clients in respond to the market needs. Graduates will be able to conduct market research on consumer behavior, Analyse market trends and needs, build business models to generate revenue, business process management models in operation side, total quality management approaches to ensure quality and costomer satisfaction and make critical decisions in challenging
business environment.
Access to further study:
After graduation from the Business Development and Eentrepreneurship, students can continue their studies in the 2nd cycle of management and business study programs in
Lithuanian and/or foreign universities.
