General Description:

Objective(s) of a study programme:

The aim of the programme is to develop responsible, critically and strategically-minded management specialists, possessing leadership capabilities to perform locally and globally, equipped with the knowledge about sustainable strategic management of organizations and other social systems, able to analyse global market, forecast its changes, model sustainable strategies, solve theoretical and practical problems to attain sustainable business and other organizations’ activity, assess the impact of business and other organizations activity on the environment and effectively communicate the findings to the public.

Learning outcomes:

Will be able to understand and evaluate the interrelationships among the three sustainability dimensions: society, environment and economy

Will be able to understand and evaluate the impact of the investmens on the long-term sustainability, benefits to business and other environment

Will be able to analyze global market, forecast its changes, model sustainaible business and other organizations’ strategies.

Will be able to understand and apply
Sustainable value creation principles

Will be able to integrate different knowledge while assesing and proposing alternative strategic sustainable solutions in the global business environment.

Will be able to develop a list of indicators assesing the impact of business in three sustainability dimensions (society, environment and economy) and apply ESG methodology.

Will be able to collect, analyze, systemize data and critically asses scientific research in the field of management and interpret their results

Based on the research results, the graduate will be able to asses and clearly communicate the impact of business and other organizations‘ activities..

Will be able to apply the newest innovation methods (such as design thinking and other) to implement sustainable changes in business and other organizations.

Will be able to effectively communicate in writing and orally, use arguments to support discussions on the topics of sustainability and organizational strategies.

Will be able to assume a leadership role and responsibility in the organization or a team in implementing sustainability agenda.

Will be able to think critically and become socially responsible leaders who understand the principles of sustainable business.

Will be able to apply knowledge and skills necessary for independent development of professional competences in the framework of life- long learning.

The Programme is taught entirely in English, which allows to admit international full-time and exchange students. They bring an international perspective to classroom discussions, promote intercultural interactions, and develop competences to work with members of other groups.
