General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
To train highly competent business development specialists who are able to generate strategic business ideas and ensure the formation and supervision of their implementation mechanisms. The program is designed for employees already working in business organisations (company managers and their deputies, sales, finance managers and specialists).

General competencies and learning outcomes:
1. Ability to analyse and solve problems using formal analysis methods
1.1 Will be able to identify appropriate theoretical concepts to solve problems in business;
1.2 Will be able to find and select the right information to solve business problems;
1.3 Will be able to apply formal analysis methods to solve business development problems.
2. Ability to organise work individually and in teams
2.1 Will be able to clearly formulate ideas and communicate them to team members;
2.2 Will be able to evaluate the scope of work and distribute work among team members;
2.3 Will be able to work in a team by coordinating their tasks with the tasks of other team members.
3. Ability to select areas for improvement and improve self-competencies
3.1 Will be able to search for answers to complex business questions by conducting methodologically sound research, and critically evaluate the results of research;
3.2 Will be able to follow the trends in business science and identify emerging cognitive gaps and fill them.

4. Ability to identify the environmental factors that determine the development of business, to determine their impact on business
4.1 Will be able to perform the analysis of the organisation's macro environment, determine the impact of macroeconomic factors on business;
4.2 Will be able to perform market analysis, select the appropriate business positioning strategy;
4.3 Will be able to assess environmental differences and adapt business to different economic, cultural, international conditions.
5. Ability to analyse and create development strategies for the organisation
5.1 Will be able to apply formal methods of strategic analysis to assess the strategic position of the organisation;
5.2 Based on the results of strategic analysis will be able to form business development priorities in the market and within the company.
6. Ability to assess the impact of different areas of activity on business development
6.1 Will be able to analyse and solve information business development support problems;
6.2 Will be able to analyse and evaluate the results of business development in different areas, identify critical areas for development.
