F4 Characterized by a sense of initiative and entrepreneurship, is able to assess the risk, to predict changes and consequences.

Activities of teaching and learning:
Material of the study module is gained both by activity in auditorium and individual work. Activity in auditorium includes lectures, laboratory and practical works, tutorial hours. Individual work is comprised by study of theoretical material, preparation for lectures, laboratory and practical work, midterms and exam. It also includes preparation of group works, projects and other activities.
Study programme is accomplished by final degree project.
Methods of assessment of learning achievements:
Ten grade and gathered evaluation system is applied. The semester’s individual work tasks are evaluated by grades; the final grade is given during the examination session while multiplying particular grades by the lever coefficient and summing the products.
The final degree project is defended in the public session of the studies’ branch qualification committee.
Framework:
Study subjects (modules), practical training:
The future graduates of this study programme study Construction Management, Optimization Theory of Construction Solutions, Computer-Aided Design and Optimization of Structures, Certification and Quality Management in Civil Engineering, 5 optional modules, carry out Research Project, and Final Degree Project. In total, 11 subjects are studied in the programme.
The practice is not provided in the study programme.
Specialisations:
N/A
Optional courses:
The studies provide a possibility for a student to study 4 alternative modules (24 credits in total) during the 1 and 2 semester on: Technology of Building Materials and Structures or Technology of Construction Processes or Building Structures. During the 2 semester alternative study module (6 credits ) have been determined for selection from the list of optional modules of the study field.
