General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
The aim of the Digital Business programme - to prepare professionals with a comprehensive knowledge of digital business creation, management, application of digital tools, tools, solutions for digital business development and growth, and to develop skills to creatively apply this knowledge and skills in a wide field of professional activity in the context of international and local business.

Learning outcomes:
General and subject competencies are reflected in the structure of the study programme to be carried out, in the results of studies and include abilities: to independently improve in the field of professional activity, to understand moral responsibility for the impact of their performance on the development of society, economy, culture and the environment; independently improve and expand professional competences through lifelong learning; make targeted use of the knowledge gained and entrepreneurial competences, taking into account market developments in the application of digital business innovations; addressing the theoretical and practical problems of digital creation and management in an ever-changing environment and lifelong learning; creative and critical use of appropriate research methods and tools to analyze the business environment and support digital business management and development solutions; systematically shape and communicate with the market using modern electronic marketing principles.
Activities of teaching and learning:
In order to encourage students to be active participants in the study process, digital business in the field of business studies will apply various student teaching and learning methods in the study programme, enabling them to achieve study results, providing not only knowledge, but also – most importantly in the long term – developing learning skills and preparing students for independent professional activities. During the studies, the following teaching and learning activities will be used: problematic teaching, immersive lecture, teaching in large and small groups, consulting, literature studies, lectures with invited guests, visits to companies, film screening, case studies, roundtable discussion, etc. Particular attention will be paid to the development of practical skills, preparation of various projects, carrying out practical tasks.
Methods of assessment of learning
achievements:
The student achievement assessment system consists of collegial and cumulative assessment. Peer review will be used to ensure the objectivity of the assessment and to enable the development of communication skills. Collegial assessment in the study programme will be applied to the defense of the projects prepared and the final works. During the peer review, students will be examined or a group of representatives of teachers or teachers and social partners will participate in the examination or project defence. In order to ensure the active work of students throughout the study period, the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, an objective assessment of study results, to avoid plagiarism cases will also be subject to cumulative assessment in the study programme. Cumulative assessment will allow the teacher to collect more information about the progress made by students during the educational process and to measure it using various assessment methods. The exam will consist of only one segment of cumulative assessment. Other assessments selected at the discretion of the teacher will be carried out for various written (e.g. project or self-employment) and other practical work demonstrating academic knowledge, practical and professional skills acquired during students' learning. A ten-point scale will be applied to the assessment, and the assessment criteria will be selected taking into account the results of the study programme and subject and the specifics of the subject being studied. The cumulative score structure will be presented in the description of each subject.

Subjects in the field of study – at least 135 credits: applied mathematics, communication theories for business, entrepreneurship, professional English, design thinking, content creation and communication on social media, economics, continuous e-business development project, e-marketing, project management, corporate finance management, visual thinking, marketing research and data analysis, e-commerce, digital tools for e-business creation, Google Sprint Design and Lean Startup methodologies, consumer behaviour and decision-making, business processes, business strategy and innovation.
Practical training – 30 credits:
Practical training in a business enterprise (12 credits),
final practical training (18 credits).
Final work – 12 credits.

Favourable conditions will be created for the formation of competencies that are relevant and relevant to the student according to personal learning goals. Students in full-time forms of study will be offered to join the subjects of the extended study programme. The advantage of applying such a model is that active students will not be limited to one direction, but studies will be expanded under favourable conditions. The aim of this decision is to promote the self-expression of active and talented students, to strengthen the individualization and attractiveness of studies. A wide range of foreign languages will also be offered for the choice of students, including French, German, Russian, Swedish and other languages. In this way, it will be possible for students to personalize the structure of the programme.

A programme that creates high added value for business and society. Students are offered a wide selection of foreign languages to reflect the market demand: German, French, Swedish, Spanish, Russian. To achieve study results, teachers apply various learning methods: project work, problem teaching, case studies, etc. The main features of the design thinking method are: ● all efforts and measures in the teaching process are directed towards promoting the student initiative; ● during the implementation of the project, the assessment of students' learning progress and achievements is constantly carried out, as well as feedback; ● different competences and skills are developed at the same time; ● preconditions are created for students' active involvement in the learning process, personal and team responsibility is developed; ● promote the integration of different subjects of study and their targeted application in solving specific problems. Special attention is paid to the formulation of the project task, aims and objectives. ● projects are carried out in accordance with the principles of teamwork. Students' motivation to take an interest in real business problems and develop entrepreneurial and other general competencies by holding meetings with invited lecturers and entrepreneurs is encouraged. Students prepare for such lectures by examining subject topics and preparing questions for guests, and then continue discussions in virtual forums.
