General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
To prepare specialists who know and understand heritage phenomena, processes, systems, topical issues, tendencies, ability to virtually actualize heritage potential at the institutional, national, regional and international levels. Is able to study and analyze the historical, social, cultural, ethnic, political, interdisciplinary context of different heritage areas in time and space perspectives.
Learning outcomes:
Program graduates will be able to:
1. Will be able to independently formulate the research topic (theoretical or applied research) in the field of heritage, is able to formulate hypotheses, to prepare professional texts.
2. Is able to collect, systematize, analyze and comment on hereditary sources, be able to apply interdisciplinary research methods in the analysis of heritage, and use the obtained research results in formulating conclusions, providing practical recommendations.
3. Based on research, will be able to formulate theoretical and practical proposals (conclusions, recommendations) and realize it in the practical field at the institutional, national and international levels.
4. Depending on the perspectives of time and space, it is capable of exploring, evaluating phenomena, processes, systems, topicalities, and trends in different heritage areas.
5. Will be able to interpret the historical, social, cultural, ethnic, political and interdisciplinary heritage context.
6. Will be able to work individually and in a team (especially in programs and projects) in exploring and updating the heritage. Ability to work with other specialists in pursuit of common professional goals, based on the general challenges of cultural diversity and globalization in professional life.
7. Will be able to assume responsibility for the quality of its activities, its evaluation, improvement, the consequences of self-made decisions and the social impact of its activities, to develop public heritage awareness, to recognize and respond to changing public expectations in the areas of heritage and heritage protection.
8. Ability to manage information, communicate smoothly and orally; Ability to reasonably convey knowledge of one or several heritage areas for specialists and non-specialists in their native and foreign languages.
Activities of teaching and learning:
The program is planned to be implemented in accordance with the contemporary study paradigm, where the central and active part of the study process is a student, and the studies are oriented towards independent, experiential, reflexive activities. Therefore, it is planned to use various study methods and forms (case study, final project, general discussions of works, portfolios, discussions, discussions, group tasks, individual consultations, individual tasks, information search tasks, collective tasks, creative workshops, literary / analysis of sources review, artistic problem solving and problem solving, mapping of thoughts, ideas, concepts, ideas of rain, kindergartens, lectures, reviews, practice assignments, exercises, problem solving, problem-solving tasks, projects, seminars, role plays, reports, studies of reflection, technological innovations in creative work, sightseeing excursions, creative expeditions, etc.).
Methods of assessment of learning achievements:
The methods for assessing student achievement, as envisaged in the program, will be in line with the study methods: written papers, reports of projects and individual work, evaluation of the competence portfolio, peer review, essay, assessment of individual and group presentations, participation in the discussion, debates, e-space evaluation of delivery and analysis of the information found, assessment of creative tasks, evaluation of practice portfolios, etc.

Compulsory courses in the field of study - 48 credits, electives - 12 credits, final thesis preparation and evaluation - 30 credits.
Main subjects of the study field: Heritage philosophy in the 21st century: national, local, global perspective, Cultural project management, European Heritage Policy: Memory, History, Identity, Strategic Coherent Management of Cultural Heritage Organizations, Applied Research, Heritage Project Work: Examples of Good Practice.

Upon completion of studies, graduates will be able to compete in the labor market (on the basis of their knowledge and abilities). Will be able to work in a wide range of professional fields: in cultural and creative industries, in projects, will also have sufficient competences to enable them to act as a freelancer, providing the necessary knowledge of the management of cultural heritage projects to the market, and other knowledge of heritage updating.
