The aim of the program is vocational training of computer equipment specialists who are qualified to work at ventures and businesses ICT users, and to provide computer alignment and maintenance services.
The program consists of 10 compulsory modules: Introduction to target profession; Application software, Computer alignment software; Computer equipment hardware; Computer peripherals; Computer network technology; Functions and security of computer network; IT systems and products; Maintenance of IT systems; Introduction to employment market.
There are also 3 additional optional modules. The programs of all of the above modules include theoretical and practical training. Evaluation criteria of learning results is met after practical tasks have been performed according to specific requirements. The program of every module is confirmed completed after all practical tasks, intended for each element of the module, have been completed and assessed affirmatively. As a result, an individual is awarded a modular program completion certificate which confirms a successful completion of the program.
Individuals with the acquired computer equipment specialist’s qualification are qualified to work as deputy engineers, IT production assistants, assistant network administrators, IT warranty and post-warranty repair specialists, as well as provide IT consulting services. They are equally qualified to work in private and public sectors, provide specific IT services or perform general maintenance work. Following the completion of this particular vocational training program there is a possibility to further continue education by enrolment into science and technology study programs offered by the higher education institutions.
