Summary of the Profile
The aim of the programme is to train qualified electricity equipment car mechanics. At the end of the program the electricity equipment car mechanic will be able to carry out the diagnostics of the electricity equipment, technical maintenance, repair works, installation of additional electricity equipment following the requirements of work safety, protection of the environment and fire security. Modular programs schedule theoretical and practical training. The qualification of the electricity equipment car mechanic is granted to the apprentice who completed all training program and achieved the foreseen training aims. The level of the acquired vocational skills is determined according to the assessment results of knowledge and competences. Persons who acquire the electricity equipment car mechanic‘s qualification can work in car service stations or have their own private practice. After graduation the studies can be continued according to the study programs of higher technological education. This programme is intended for initial vocational education and training.
