Summary of the Profile

The future Masters of architecture students are taught general subjects to the whole study programme: city culture theory, contemporary cultural studies, media, architectural renovation, preservation of architectural heritage, eco architecture and other selective subjects:
– Urban planning specialization:
Physical Resources of a Territory and Landscape Protection, Urban Structure of the City: Context and Developmental Alternatives.
– Architecture of Urban Complexes specialization:
Artistic Principles of Urban Design and Town Planning.
– Architecture of Buildings specialization:
Planning of buildings and urban complexes both in the city and natural environment. Architecture semantics and psychology. Search of artistic methods. New architectural technologies.
– Renovation of buildings specialization:
Renovation of construction, acoustics and light technique.

The professional practice is not foreseen. While studying there are academic tasks closely connected to the architect’s professional practice.
The Masters degree programme is available for the Bachelor degree in architecture holders, also for those having a qualification degree of an architect and willing to become architecture MAs.
