The purpose of the curriculum is to prepare a qualified cook who is able to keep order in the kitchen, get ready to prepare dishes, prepare and decorate dishes, work with documents. This programme is intended for initial vocational education and training. The curriculum contains 5 compulsory modules: Keeping order in the kitchen; Preparation to prepare dishes; Preparation of precooked dishes and dishes and their decoration; Preparation of salads and garnishes and their decoration; Work with documents. The curriculum offers 3 optional modules: Preparation of national heritage dishes; Preparation of sweet dishes; Preparation of BBQ and grill dishes. The content of modules consists of theoretical and practical training. During the personal evaluation of qualifications will be evaluated these competences: preparation of foodstuffs, preparation of precooked dishes; preparation of cold, hot dishes and salads. People acquired a cook‘s qualification will be able to work in the catering sphere.
