Modular Vocational Training Program for Textile Care Worker is designed to prepare a skilled worker, who can independently wash textile products and clean them wet, performing chemical cleaning of textile products, performing final cleaning of textile products. The program has 3 compulsory modules: Textile washing and wet cleaning, Chemical cleaning of textile products, Final cleaning of textile products. Module programs provide theoretical and practical training. During the assessment of person's acquired competences assess the following competences: prepare a workplace, equipment and textiles for washing, wet cleaning, dry cleaning, ironing processes. Wash, wet clean textile products. To clean textile products chemically. To iron Textile Products. Perform finishing work on textile products. Perform finishing works on leather goods. Prepare textiles for giving back. Persons who have obtained a qualification as a textile maintenance worker, will be able to work in clothes laundries and dry cleaners. After finishing this program, learning can be continued of higher education Textile Care Technologist study program.
