Description
A person who acquires the qualification of mathematics specialist must: - be able to apply various methods for proving mathematical propositions; analyse natural, social, and economic phenomena and complete mathematical models of the phenomena; detect and substantiate the characteristics of abstract mathematical models; and apply those characteristics for the investigation of various links of the models - know new and relevant problems of research and development in mathematics and various ways of proving mathematical propositions - be able to think logically and analytically and summarise and substantiate conclusions.
