Description

Object of activities: maintenance of the premises of the company providing accommodation services, execution of the accounting process, preparation of simple meals in the premises of the company providing food production and serving in a restaurant and / or room; provision of information and simple services (laundry, ironing, etc.) for guests.
Typical work tools: room management tools and equipment (vacuum cleaners, cloths, brushes, cleaning products, etc.), inventory and equipment for outdoor area maintenance, kitchen machinery and equipment, cutlery and utensils, coffee makers, cash registers or restaurant management software, order registration books, computer, software, etc.
Typical working conditions: working indoors, characterized by individual and team work.
Additional information: in its activities, the hotel worker follows the requirements of occupational safety and health, ergonomics, occupational hygiene, fire safety and environmental protection, Lithuanian hygiene standard HN 118:2011 “Health safety requirements for accommodation services”, approved by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania January 27 by order no. V-82 “On the Approval of the Lithuanian Hygiene Standard HN 118:2011“ Health Safety Requirements for Accommodation Services ”, with the requirements for the classification of enterprises providing accommodation services. Qualified individuals will be able to work in hotels, guest houses, rural tourism homesteads and other companies providing accommodation services.
Competences of qualification:
1. Accept guests.
2. Provide information to the guest about possible additional services in the company.
3. Carry out accounting of economic instruments and financial documents.
4. Carry out accounting of material values.
5. Maintain general order in the company providing accommodation services.
6. Assist guests during emergencies.
7. Maintain order in the outdoor area.
8. Supervise plants indoors and outdoors.
9. Manage living rooms and common areas.
10. Clean various surfaces and coatings.
11. Maintain the condition of equipment and inventory in guest rooms.
12. Choose foods.
13. Prepare breakfast snacks and / or meals.
14. Prepare the dining hall (location).
15. Serve drinks and meals to guests.
16. Serve guests food and beverages in the room.
