Description

Object of activities: production of joinery products with positional woodworking machines, equipment, CNC machining centers.
Typical work tools: personal protective equipment, hand tools, electric carpentry tools, woodworking equipment and machines, CNC machining centers.
Typical working conditions: activities involving manual physical work performed indoors.
Additional information: the joiner follows the requirements of occupational safety and health, ergonomics, occupational hygiene, fire safety, environmental protection. Qualified persons will be able to work in wood processing companies or start a small business.
Competences of qualification:
1. Store materials, workpieces, assembly units and products, identify types of timber.
2. Prepare and arrange the joiner‘s work place.
3. Read technical drawings of timber products.
4. Measure, mark timber and calculate raw material expenditure.
5. Process the wood using manual joiner tools.
6. Process the wood using manual electrical and pneumatic joiner tools.
7. Process the wood using positioning (single technological action) machines.
8. Glue wood products using gluing equipment.
9. Operate CNC 3 Axis and 4 Axis machining centres.
10. Work with CNC machining centers for window and door production.
11. Produce metric products and other interior elements.
12. Produce windows, doors, stairs.
Competences of the specialization “Repair and renewal of joinery products“:
1. Repair and renew windows.
2. Repair and renew the door.
3. Repair and renew stairs and interior elements.
Competences of the specialization “Joinery finishing“:
1. Finish joinery manually.
2. Finish joinery products in a mechanized way.
