Description

Object of activities: according to the instructions of social worker to help individuals which haven‘t possibilities, not acquired or have lost abilities and skills to self-manage personal life because of age, disability or social problems.
Typical work tools: computer-aided workplace and programs; equipment for copying and scanning; cars or other tools for mobility and communication in the urban as well as in the rural communities; technical and other tools of personal safety, laundry, and food preparation; other domestic appliances (for cleaning, washing and disinfection).
Typical working conditions: indoors work or attendance of clients in their living surroundings. Work at night time. Dangerous work with persons at social risk and having mental disorders.
Additional information: assistant of social worker must be familiar with the legislation, regulating rendering of social services. Qualified individuals will be able to work in organizations providing social services.
Competences of qualification:
1. Establish and maintain a trust-based relationship with the client.
2. Assist the client in daily life.
3. Develop and maintain the client's work and self-expression skills.
4. Manage and clean the client's personal belongings and premises.
5. Create a safe environment for the client.
6. Provide assistance to the client and those around them during an outbreak of aggression.
