Description

Object of activities: to organize the maintenance and repair processes of units, systems and assemblies of various vehicles (performance, supervision and results monitoring).p Typical work tools: electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic tools and equipment for condition diagnostics, disassembly, assembly and testing of vehicle units, systems and assemblies, safety measures, means of communication and transport, databases. Typical working conditions: work is carried out in vehicle maintenance and repair premises, in certain cases – under field conditions. Additional information: automotive repair technician in his work activities follows the Safety, Hygiene and Health Protection at Work, Fire safety and Environmental safety requirements for employees and work activities regulating documents. Individuals who have acquired this qualification can work in vehicle maintenance and repair enterprises or work as self-employed individual. Competences of qualification:
1. Plan vehicle maintenance.
2. Check and control the compliance of consumables with standards and technical requirements.
3. Prepare estimates of the amount and costs of consumables and labor costs according to the provided description of technical conditions.
4. Organize the dismantling of vehicle units, systems and assemblies.
5. Organize the repair of vehicle units, systems and components.
6. Organize the assembly of vehicle units, systems and assemblies.
7. Perform diagnostics of electronic vehicle control systems.
8. Evaluate diagnostic results.
