Description

Object of activities: marking, tying, wrapping, packing, sorting, measuring and weighing of goods, packaging using a dedicated device.
Typical work tools: equipment for handling, marking, tying, wrapping, packing (manual packaging), sorting, measuring, weighing.
Typical working conditions: mainly works in warehouses, sorting and distribution places. The warehouse operator must wear personal protective equipment issued by the employer during work.
Additional information: the warehouse operator follows the requirements of the safety and health of workers, ergonomics, occupational hygiene, fire safety, environmental protection and other legal acts regulating its activities. Qualified individuals will be able to work in the warehouses of all types of companies, as well as in the divisions or divisions that perform warehousing and storage functions.
Competences of qualification:
1. Prepare the workplace for the warehouse operator.
2. Apply standards for storage conditions, packaging and labeling of food and non-food commodities, raw materials and produce.
3. Take appropriate action in the emergency of breakdowns and accidents.
4. Work in a warehouse using warehouse equipment.
5. Work with information technology, automated and computerized warehouse systems and equipment.
6. Safely carry, move and transport cargo.
7. Pack cargo and goods.
8. Prepare a vehicle for loading work and maintain loading equipment.
9. Coupling, hitching and attaching the load handler to a container or vehicle.
10. Securely load, carry, move, transport and sort cargo using handling equipment.
Competences of the specialization "Truck operation":
1. Operate the truck with special load handler.
2. Load and unload the truck safely.
3. Operate electric forklifts with special cargo pick-up and loading devices.
4. Load and unload cargo safely with electric forklifts.
5. Operate electric trolleys with special cargo pick-up and loading devices.
6. Load and unload cargo safely with electric trolleys.
