Description

Object of activities: painting, decorating and repairing the external and internal surfaces of buildings.
Typical work tools: personal protective equipment, trowel, brushes, sprayers, hot air hair dryers, small surface preparation mechanisms (drilling, forging, grinding electromechanical devices), chemicals, surface cleaning and washing equipment, measuring, inspection devices, sandpaper, mesh, pads, paper , mesh holders, brushes, rollers, putty sprayers, putty sanders, airless and air painting systems, high pressure, electrostatic painting machines, etc.
Typical working conditions: working indoors of buildings and outdoors, with materials that are aggressive to the environment and people, have to work at high altitudes; work environment can be dusty, dirty, depending on weather conditions. Due to the specifics of the work, the employee is provided with special clothing.
Additional information: in his / her activities, the painter follows the requirements of occupational safety and health, ergonomics, occupational hygiene, fire safety, environmental protection, documents regulating painting works and the principles of sustainable construction. The painter works in a group. The following personal qualities are important to him: thoroughness, concentration of attention, body coordination, physical endurance, ability to work in a team. The painter independently, according to the drawings, performs the complex tasks assigned to him, supervises the activities of his subordinate, lower-qualified employees, assigns them tasks. For a painter, the tasks of the activity are set by a person with a higher qualification. After obtaining this qualification, individuals will be able to work in construction companies.
