Description

Object of activities: ensuring the economic needs of the enterprise providing accommodation services, coordinating cleaning and handling works, organizing and controlling the work of employees.
Typical work tools: computer, software, purchase, receipt, inventory, working time accounting and other documents, special software for managing the accommodation processes.
Typical working conditions: working indoors, characterized by individual and team work.
Additional information: in its activities, the hotel steward follows the requirements of occupational safety and health, ergonomics, occupational hygiene, fire safety and environmental protection, Lithuanian Hygiene Standard HN 118:2011 “Health safety requirements for accommodation services”, approved by January 27 by order no. V-82 “On the Approval of the Lithuanian Hygiene Standard HN 118:2011 “Health Safety Requirements for Accommodation Services”, requirements for the classification of enterprises providing accommodation services. Qualified individuals will be able to work in hotels, guest houses, motels and other accommodation establishments.
Competences of qualification:
1. Order goods.
2. Buy goods.
3. Manage documents.
4. Distribute jobs to subordinate employees.
5. Coordinate subordinate employees work.
6. Coordinate the actions of subordinate employees in the management of indoor and outdoor territory.
7. Assist in the selection of employees.
8. Make timetable for subordinate employees.
9. Transfer practical operational skills to subordinate employees.
