Description

Object of activities: an evaluation of the technical condition of car body, maintenance, repairs, car body preparation for painting, painting. Typical work tools: electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic tools and devices for the evaluation of the car body technical condition, maintenance and repairs, safeguard measures, database. Typical working conditions: work activities are carried out in vehicle maintenance and repairs premises, under certain cases – in field conditions. Additional information: car body repairer in his activities follows the requirements of Safety, Hygiene and Health Protection at Work, Fire safety and Environmental safety and work activities regulating documents. Individuals holding this qualification may have access to an employed activity in vehicle maintenance and repairs enterprises. Competences of qualification:
1. Visually assess the technical condition of auto-bodies according to external features.
2. Measure the geometry of auto-bodies.
3. Select the auto-body.
4. Eliminate deformations of auto-bodies.
5. Weld and solder auto-body parts.
6. Assemble the auto-body.
7. Prepare the auto-body for painting.
8. Paint auto-bodies and their parts.
9. Coat unpainted auto-body surfaces with anti-corrosion compound.
