Description

A person who has acquired the qualification of welder should: Be able to prepare the edges of metal surfaces for welding; weld seams in various positions; use arc welding equipment to weld steel; use gas welding equipment to weld steel, nonferrous metal, and alloys; detect defects in seams and rectify them; join surfaces by soldering; and weld with semi-automated machines in various positions.Know welding methods and technologies, the kinds and qualities of metals, and work safety requirements.Be able to work carefully, independently and responsibly and organize his/her own work.
