Description

Object of activities: cutting and joining garment parts into a product.
Typical work tools: manual and mechanical laying machines, electric, manual and strip cutting machines, cutters and computer-controlled digital cutting machines, part marking machines, irons, presses, universal and special sewing machines.
Typical working conditions: working individually indoors.
Additional information: in its activities, the tailor follows the requirements of occupational safety and health, ergonomics, occupational hygiene, fire safety, and environmental protection. Qualified individuals will be able to work in mass and individual clothing manufacturing companies.
Competences of qualification:
1. Prepare the tailor's workplace and the equipment used during the sewing technological process.
2. Prepare materials and necessary fittings.
3. Manage and maintain the equipment used during the sewing technological process.
4. Accept the sewing service order.
5. Cut clothing details.
6. Process and sew garment details.
7. Connect the garment details to the product.
8. Repair clothes.
9. Finish the clothes.
