Description

A person who has acquired this qualification: knows the main technical features, management procedure, operation, safety devices, construction, main systems, and electrical devices of automated derrick cranes; the composition of hydraulic systems; and the operation, norms of regulation, and lubrication schedule of automated derrick cranes, knows the possible faults of automated derrick crane mechanisms, causes for such faults, and methods of eliminating those faults and the main causes of accidents while working with automated derrick cranes, knows the requirements for the erection of automotive derrick cranes, lifting devices and rules for performing work with automated derrick cranes, knows the user's manual, technical maintenance and repair system of the crane, and health and safety instructions for an automated derrick crane machinist, is able to manage and operate automated derrick cranes while performing lifting, construction and installation work, is able to apply the signals used in load lifting work and observe the requirements for strapping, moving and storing loads, is able to perform maintenance work on automated derrick cranes, regulate brakes, eliminate simple faults, and safely use automated derrick cranes, observes requirements for employees' health and safety, fire prevention measures, and electrical and environmental safety.
