The purpose of the curriculum is to prepare a qualified cook who is able under the supervision of a worker of higher qualification to choose food products and ingredients, prepare them and prepare simple technologies semi-products and dishes. This programme is intended for initial vocational education and training. The curriculum contains 3 compulsory modules: Choosing food products and ingredients and their initial preparation; Preparation of simple technologies semi- products; Preparation of simple technologies dishes. The curriculum offers 5 optional modules: Preparation of simple technologies national heritage dishes; Preparation of simple technologies BBQ and grill dishes; Preparation of pizza; Preparation of pancakes, castles and trenches; Preparation of simple technologies sushi. The content of modules consists of theoretical and practical training. During the personal evaluation of qualifications will be evaluated these competences: preparation of foodstuffs, preparation of simple technologies precooked dishes; preparation of simple technologies cold, hot dishes and salads. People acquired a cook‘s qualification will be able to work in the catering sphere.
