Summary of the Profile
The main aim of the modular training programme – to develop a skilled Ornamental planting and landscaping business employee who is able to install and maintain green areas in public or private companies (lance work) and (or) to organize and carry out activities related to the installation and maintenance of the green space, ornamental plants production, maintenance and sale. According to a modular training program is guaranteed that people will gain knowledge and special skills needed for set up, development and management of individual enterprise, production and marketing of gardens and nurseries. Ornamental planting and landscaping business employees are trained to: recognize, reproduce, grow, form ornamental plants, to prepare the territory for installation of greeneries, install and maintain green areas and small architectural elements, use mechanisms and techniques for the installation and maintenance of green areas, plant a garden. The final module is designed to summarize the learning and consolidate acquired competencies during learning. This programme is intended for initial vocational education and training.
