General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme: GOALS joint degree master programme aims to reinforce the international experiences of students in sport management in order to fulfil the demands of the national market and align with the needs of the international labour market.

Learning outcomes:
Ability to understand leisure and sports industry companies (organisations) and their stakeholders, external context, where the sports industry companies (organisations) are operating, and ability to manage them in consideration to long-term and sustainable perspective;
Ability to understand and apply systematically modern management theories in the global, complex and uncertain conditions in order to improve business and management practices in leisure and sports industry;
Ability to foresee potential impact of management decisions on leisure and sports industry business and society;
Ability to understand and apply the principles of creation of sustainable value;
Ability to manage leisure and sports industry based on the results of fundamental and applied research that create a ground for the ability to create new knowledge.
Ability to select, systemise and assess critically certain scientific research on leisure and sports industry management topics;
Ability to develop and carry out independently research in the field of leisure and sports industry management;
Ability to interpret the research results and to present managerial decisions for leisure and sports industry.
Ability to assume leadership in various situations of professional activities in leisure and sports industry;
Ability to supervise activities of other employees within miscellaneous global context of leisure and sports industry;
Ability to make decisions and to substantiate them properly in various situations under uncertain conditions in leisure and sports industry;
Ability to integrate knowledge of various fields.
Ability to supervise the team and to assume responsibility for its results;
Ability to communicate effectively, smoothly and consistently orally and in writing in at least one foreign language, to discuss relevant management practical and theoretical issues, including presentation of business ideas, preparation of business reports, consultations, and expert evaluation;
Ability to organise and carry out individual and group research, as well as in the interdisciplinary team, to assess the effectiveness of group work, to apply the principles of group formation, assignment and management of tasks, to comply with the professional ethics and civic consciousness;
Ability to organise independently preparation of performance plans and projects, to supervise their implementation, and to assess effectiveness of such activities.
Ability to innovate and initiate new business projects and to manage them;
Ability to apply strategic, critical and constructive thinking when making management decisions in complex and undefined situations;
Ability to improve and develop professional competence independently through lifelong learning;
Ability to make decisions based on ethics and sustainable development.
Teaching and learning activities:
Problem-based teaching, Round table, Brainstorming, Presentation, Project case study, Exploratory teaching methods: (practical – solving of practical cases, project, discussion, group work), Expository contents, Practical exercises, Collaborative learning, etc. Particular attention is paid to the development of practical skills, so the descriptions of study subjects provide many practical tasks for students, such as Role models, Debates, Job conferences, etc.

Case study, report, Self-assessment, Personal Action plan, Project presentation by group, Interview, Report, Test, coursework; video presentation, Observation based on engagement; structure, organisation of events, application, Report – debriefing of event.
