General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
To develop responsible, strategically-minded specialists equipped with global leadership skills, knowledge of the strategic management of organizations and other social systems, who have the ability to analyze the global market, forecast its changes, model the organization‘s strategy accordingly and solve global
theoretical and practical problems in leadership and business field.
Learning outcomes:
1. Ability to understand the specifics of global leadership and apply them in a global organizational environment;
2. Ability to understand, critically evaluate and systematically apply modern strategy theories in a global environment to improve business practices;
3. Ability to integrate (leadership, management, strategy, finance,
microeconomics) knowledge, evaluate and offer alternative strategic solutions in a global business environment;
4. Ability to develop and independently conduct research in the field of leadership and strategic management;
5. Ability to collect, systematize and critically evaluate research in the field of leadership and strategic management and interpret its results;
6. Ability to lead other people’s activities based on knowledge of leadership and sustainable business;
7. Ability to develop strategies for sustainable business development, taking into account environmental uncertainty, business digitalization and globalization;
8. Ability to initiate, manage and evaluate projects in organizations and manage project portfolios;

Distinctive features of a study programme:
1. The Programme is designed for students from varied range of study fields, primarily to those who had no previous experience with leadership and business studies. This brings varied opinions and experiences to classroom discussions and groupwork, encouraging peer to peer learning.
2. The Programme offers hands-on learning experiences through specialized
leadership modules (i.e. designing and delivering a social project from scratch, learning practical leadership skills through individual coaching sessions). Students will also benefit from personalised mentorship provided by leaders currently enrolled in Executive MBA programme at ISM. The Programme is taught entirely in English, which allows to admit international full-time and exchange students. They bring an international perspective to classroom discussions, promote intercultural interactions, and develop competences to work with members of other groups.
3. The Programme will be offering a double degree option with one of ISM
founders - BI Norwegian Business School.

Upon completion of their studies, students will be able to pursue professional activities in the private, public and government sectors, work in national and international organizations and institutions, and in the non-profit sector. Students will be well-prepared to take leadership roles in a variety of professions that require leadership and management skills. Graduates will be well acquainted with leadership skills, business and management tools, so they will be able to initiate, organize and implement various projects in organizations, lead intercultural teams and bring value to their organizations. Graduates of the program will be well prepared for practical activities in international and national business organizations, consulting companies, government and public sectors, municipal and media institutions, i.e. where there is a need for specialists who are well versed and able to apply various knowledge of global leadership and strategy: managers of international organizations, managers of international projects, business consultant, managers of business development. Graduates will also be able to work in the development of non-profit organizations (culture, sports, education)
in Lithuanian and foreign organizations.
Access to further study:
Students, who have successfully completed Master‘s in Global leadership and strategy, will be well prepared to continue their studies on a doctoral level in the
fields of leadership, business or management.
