Description

Object of activities: painting, decorating and repairing the external and internal surfaces of buildings.
Typical work tools: personal protective equipment, trowel, brushes, sprayers, hot air dryers, small surface preparation mechanisms (drilling, forging, grinding electromechanical devices), chemicals, surface cleaning and washing equipment, measuring, inspection devices, sandpaper, mesh, pads, paper , mesh holders, brushes, rollers, putty sprayers, putty sanders, airless and aerated painting systems, high pressure, electrostatic painting machines, etc.
Typical working conditions: working indoors and outdoors, with materials that are aggressive to the environment and people, have to work at high altitudes; the work environment can be dusty, dirty, depending on weather conditions. Due to the specifics of the work, the employee is provided with special clothing.
Additional information: in his activity, the painter follows the principles of occupational safety and health, ergonomics, occupational hygiene, fire safety, environmental protection, and sustainable construction. The following personal qualities are important to him: thoroughness, concentration of attention, body coordination, physical endurance, ability to work in a team. The painter is able to plan his / her activities according to the given tasks with the help of a highly qualified employee, adapts to the variety of activities, materials and tools, performs various activities and operations, applying known and tested solutions, uses drawings, specifications and verbal information. After obtaining this qualification, individuals will be able to work in construction companies or carry out individual activities.
