Description

Object of activities: installation, maintenance and repair of heating, cooling, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for buildings.
Typical work tools: personal protective equipment, construction forging, drilling tools, pipe cutting, bending, pressing tools, taps, plumbing wrenches and other plumbing tools, equipment and machinery, F-gas filling, pumping and transportation equipment.
Typical working conditions: activities involve heavy manual physical work, usually performed indoors, at high altitudes. Due to the specifics of the work, the employee is provided with special clothing.
Additional information: the HVAC systems installer follows the principles of occupational safety and health, ergonomics, occupational hygiene, fire safety, environmental protection, and sustainable construction. The following personal qualities are important to him: thoroughness, concentration of attention, spatial thinking, coordination of the body, physical endurance. When installing heat pump systems using refrigerants, the installer of HVAC systems must have a certificate authorizing this work. When installing and maintaining (operating) the electrical part of the building heating system and connecting the electrical parts of the HVAC equipment, the HVAC systems installer must have acquired a qualification unit for the installation and operation of electrical systems up to 1000 V. The HVAC systems installer performs the work according to his competencies and is responsible for the quality of the work performed. Supervision of its activities is limited to quality control of the work performed. The HVAC systems installer is able to plan his activities according to the given tasks, with the help of a highly qualified person, adapts to a variety of activities, materials and tools, performs various operational actions and operations, applying known and tested solutions, using drawings, specifications and verbal information. After obtaining this qualification, individuals will be able to work in various companies or carry out individual activities.
Competences of qualification:

2. Prepare and arrange the workstation of the heating, ventilation, air conditioning system installer.
3. Read the construction work project.
4. Install water supply, heating-cooling and drainage pipes.
5. Prepare building structures for pipe installation.
6. Install the building's water heating and cooling pipelines and appliances.
7. Install the building's water heating-cooling system equipment.
8. Maintain the building's water heating and cooling pipelines and appliances.
9. Install duct networks.
10. Install ventilation of the building
equipment and devices.
11. Install a smoke extraction system.
12. Maintain building ventilation equipment and appliances.
13. Install heat pumps in water systems.
14. Install heat pump systems using F gas and non-halogen refrigeration agents.
15. Monitor heat pump systems.
