Description

Object of activities: concreting of building structures.
Typical work tools: personal protective equipment, concrete, mortar mixing equipment, concrete spreading, leveling, compaction equipment, reinforcement nets and bars, concrete feeding, compaction, leveling and rubbing mechanisms, concrete feeding pump, etc.
Typical working conditions: activities are usually associated with heavy manual physical work, working on open construction sites and indoors, in various weather conditions, having to work with lifting mechanisms, including at height. Due to the specifics of the work, the employee is provided with special clothing.
Additional information: the concreter assistant follows the requirements of occupational safety and health, ergonomics, occupational hygiene, fire safety, environmental protection, and sustainable construction. He works in a group. The following personal qualities are important for a concreter assistant: thoroughness, concentration of attention, body coordination, physical endurance, ability to work in a team. The concreter assistant carries out his activities under the coordination and supervision of a higher-skilled worker, performs simple operations and actions to solve simple problems as instructed, assists higher-skilled workers in the performance of tasks, provides written and oral information, and provides feedback. After obtaining this qualification, individuals will be able to work in construction companies.
Competences of qualification:
1. Store materials, products and equipment necessary for concrete laying according to the instructions.
2. Prepare and put in order a concrete worker‘s work place according to the instructions.
3. Prepare concrete, delivers it to the concrete laying site according to the instructions.
4. Assemble the reinforcement grids and frames according to the instructions.
5. Smooth and consolidate the floor foundation for concreting according to the instructions.
6. Assist in concrete laying of the structures according to the instructions.
7. Take care of hardening concrete according to the instructions.
