Description
Object of activities: plastering of internal and external constructions of buildings, plaster repair.
Typical work tools: personal protective equipment, mortar preparation equipment and inventory, measuring and quality control devices, surface cleaning, ironing, wetting, priming and other surface preparation tools, plaster contamination, leveling, abrasion tools, plaster materials, elevation and other means.
Typical working conditions: working indoors and outdoors in buildings, with materials that are aggressive to the environment and people, have to work at high altitudes; work environment can be dusty, dirty, depending on weather conditions. Due to the specifics of the work, the employee is provided with special clothing.
Additional information: in its activities, the plasterer follows the principles of occupational safety and health, ergonomics, occupational hygiene, fire safety, environmental protection and sustainable construction. The following personal qualities are important to him:
thoroughness, concentration of attention, body coordination, physical endurance, ability to work in a team. The plasterer is able to plan his / her activities according to the given tasks, with the help of a highly qualified person adapts to the variety of activities, materials and tools, performs various activities and operations, applying known and tested solutions, using drawings, specifications and verbal information. After obtaining this qualification, individuals will be able to work in construction companies or carry out individual activities.
Competences of qualification:
1. Store materials, products and equipment for plastering.
2. Prepare and put in order a plasterer‘s work place.
3. Read construction work project.
4. Prepare mortars and surfaces of the building for plastering.
5. Plaster building constructions using simple mortar with manual tools.
6. Apply decorative plaster with manual tools.
7. Plaster building constructions with mechanized tools.
8. Repair simple plaster.
