Methods of assessment of learning achievements:
The study programme applies cumulative assessment based on a ten-point system that classifies levels of achievement into excellent, typical, and threshold. Assessment is based on mid-term assessments that allow for consistent monitoring of students' progress and results throughout the study process. The course programme defines the structural components of the assessment, their percentage weight in the final evaluation, the content of the assessment tasks, the assessment criteria, and requirements.
Each study subject completes with an examination or a final assessment of the student's work, depending on the nature of the subject. The final mark consists of all the components of the cumulative assessment, the proportions of which are specified in the description of each study subject.

Distinctive features of a study programme:
The study programme is based on an interdisciplinary approach that integrates knowledge of business management, sustainability, agroecology, food technologies, and innovation. This integration enables students to address complex challenges in the agri-food sector. From the first years of studies, the issues of sustainable development and responsible consumption are emphasised and closely integrated in the content of studies and project-based activities.
Students acquire not only theoretical knowledge but also practical experience by developing real business ventures – from idea to implementation. A distinctive feature of the study programme is the Innovation Development and Management module, which incorporates methods such as Design Thinking and Lean Startup. The ideas generated by the students are prototyped and presented to lecturers, researchers, and business representatives.
The study programme focuses on hands-on entrepreneurship training, implementation of creative solutions, and strategic team management. Throughout their studies, students develop the skills to collaborate effectively, make decisions under uncertainty, empower teams, and apply innovative management models in a competitive business environment.
A key role in the study process is played by lecturers-practitioners, guest speakers from the business sector, collaborative projects, entrepreneurship competitions, and internships in real companies. This helps students establish connections with representatives of the agri-food sector, gain a better understanding of business reality, and build a professional network.
The programme develops independent, responsible, and team-oriented specialists who are capable of initiating change, leading in their field, and creating sustainable value in the agri-food sector.
