General Description:
Objective(s) of a study programme:
The objective of the Industrial Technology Management programme is to educate socially responsible, critical thinkers, having knowledge, abilities and practical skills, capable of making economically feasible and sustainable decisions in planning, organization, implementation and development of production and service processes in a short and long-term perspective; to forecast the impact of the decisions taken on the organizational and broader environment; capable of effective cooperation in the environment of different disciplines, cultures and organizations and motivated for lifelong learning.
Learning outcomes:
Upon successful completion of Industrial Technology Management programme students are able:
To determine and analyze internal and external influences on an industrial organization.
To demonstrate appropriate knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering, in relation of managing primary and support processes of an industrial organization.
To integrate the knowledge gained for operation management to continuously improve and innovate the processes in an industrial organization.
To provide theoretical reasoning for solving technical or managerial problems.
To design, test and analyse a system or process to meet the objectives of the industrial organization.
To select and use computer applications software associated with desired needs.
To apply ethical principles in academic and professional environment.
To communicate and to work effectively in the intercultural and interdisciplinary teams.
To apply systematic, critical and constructive thinking in problem solving.
To use personal and inter-personal skills for effective communication with professional and other audiences.
